As usual, we're probably all sitting around wondering where did 2008 go? For us here on Melvin Street there is a lot to look back on and it's all good. But, more on that sort of stuff in another post.
The newlyweds, Liz and Jeff, are hosting their first Thanksgiving dinner at their house. We're sure looking forward to joining them along with Vince, Janice and Jeff's folks. Alex will be home from Santa Cruz; the rest of the Ponting clan will be at the ranch with Grandma. I don't think they mind not coming here for dinner because Grandma will be inaugurating her much-needed, new stove and oven. My sister Lisa and her family are off for Denver to celebrate with family there.
